Our network is flat — can you segment it?
Yes. We separate building systems (access control, CCTV, BMS) from resident and guest networks. We’ll map dependencies first to avoid disrupting critical services.
We have old PCs and unsupported software — is that a problem?
Unsupported systems are a significant risk. We audit your environment, identify end‑of‑life software and hardware, and provide a remediation plan including Managed PC where replacement is needed.
Who is responsible if something goes wrong?
Under our managed agreements, Pickle takes responsibility for services and controls within scope. We provide clear documentation so committees and OC managers have a defensible record.
Can you work with our existing vendors and contractors?
Yes. We coordinate vendor access, apply least‑privilege, and ensure changes are documented and approved.
Will this disrupt residents or building services?
We stage changes to minimise impact, schedule after‑hours windows where needed, and communicate timelines in advance.
What is the ACSC Essential Eight and how do you use it?
The Essential Eight is the Australian Government’s recommended set of baseline cyber mitigation strategies. We align our remediation and management work to these controls and maturity levels for practical, defensible improvements. We don’t claim certification — alignment only.
Do you provide ISO 27001 certification?
No. ISO 27001 is a formal certification for information security management systems. We help implement practical controls (e.g. patching, MFA, backups, least‑privilege) and provide documentation. If you require certification, we’ll coordinate with an accredited auditor.
