Why choose Pickle Business Broadband

Built for business, not shared consumer traffic

Your connection is provisioned as a business service — not shared with residential traffic, and not deprioritised at peak times.

Static IP included as standard

Every plan includes a static IPv4 address. Need additional public IPs for your firewall, hosted services, or UTM? We can allocate a routed IPv4 block on request.

4G/5G backup when you need it

Keep your business online if the fixed link goes down. We can pair your service with a 4G or 5G backup connection configured to cut in automatically.

Australian support, always

Our support team is based in Australia. When something needs attention, you speak to someone who knows your service — not a script.

Strata‑ready design

Works cleanly with shared comms rooms, VLAN segmentation, and CCTV/lift services.

How we deliver your business broadband

From initial assessment to live service — here is what to expect at each stage.

Site qualification

We confirm nbn availability and the best performance class for your site.

Scheduled installation

Self‑install for simple sites, or professional install for strata/complex wiring.

Activation and handover testing

We activate the service, apply static IP, and test routing, QoS and failover (if included).

Proactive monitoring and support

We monitor the link and provide clear escalation to the carrier when needed.

What is included with every Pickle business broadband service

Practical capability for day‑to‑day operations and shared building environments.

Fixed IP included

A fixed IP included as standard, so your firewall rules, remote access, and hosted services stay stable.

Plan speeds

Plans from 25/5 up to 250/100 Mbps. Upgrade as your business grows.

4G/5G failover backup

Automatic switchover to mobile if your fixed link goes down.

Voice‑ready QoS

Traffic prioritisation ensures your VoIP calls stay clear, even when the connection is under load.

VLAN support

Segment your network for voice, CCTV, lift services, or guest Wi‑Fi without needing separate physical links.

Service monitoring and SLAs

We monitor your link proactively and back it with a service‑level commitment.

National fibre backbone

Your traffic runs across a high‑capacity national fibre network, not a shared consumer path.

Scale as you grow

Add speed, IPs, or additional services without changing your contract.

Straightforward pricing — no surprises

Unlimited data, static IP included, and no lock-in contracts. All prices exclude GST. Available speeds depend on your nbn connection type and address.

From $105/month

Business broadband with your own router (BYO). Or $120/month with a Telstra Smart Modem included.

Unlimited data

No data caps, no shaping, no overage charges. Use as much as your business needs.

Static IP included

Every plan includes a static IPv4 address at no extra charge. Additional IPs available on request.

Month-to-month

No lock-in contract. Connection fee of $99 applies. Professional installation $299 where required.

Choose your speed tier

All plans include unlimited data and a static IP. Upgrade or downgrade anytime. Prices exclude GST.

Need 500 Mbps or 1000 Mbps? Higher speed tiers are available on FTTP — ask at the quote stage.

Actual speeds may vary due to your modem, internal cabling, Wi‑Fi setup, and in‑premises wiring. Speed availability confirmed at the quote stage.

50/20 Mbps — $120/month

Reliable business broadband for small offices and light cloud use. Available on FTTP, FTTN, FTTC, FTTB, HFC, and Fixed Wireless. Typical busy-period speeds: ~50 down / ~17 up.

100/40 Mbps — $125/month

Our most popular plan. Handles VoIP, video calls, and cloud services for teams of up to 20. Available on FTTP, FTTC, FTTB, and HFC. Typical busy-period speeds: ~100 down / ~32 up.

250/100 Mbps — $150/month

More speed for growing teams, heavy cloud workloads, and buildings with higher aggregate demand. FTTP required. Typical busy-period speeds: ~250 down / ~80 up.

Need additional static IP addresses?

Every plan includes one static IPv4 address. If your business runs a firewall, VPN, or hosted services requiring multiple public IPs, we can allocate a routed block.

2 usable IPs (/30) — $10/month
6 usable IPs (/29) — $20/month
14 usable IPs (/28) — $30/month
Up to 254 usable IPs (/24) — $70/month

Larger subnets available on request. Ask at the quote stage.

Which connection type is right for your building?

Not every building needs the same solution. Here’s how our connection types compare — and when each one makes sense.

Business Broadband

Best for small offices and multi‑tenant buildings with standard connectivity needs.

Business Ethernet

Best for buildings requiring higher symmetrical speeds and stronger SLAs.

Dedicated fibre

Best for organisations where uptime and throughput are mission‑critical.

Match the class to your risk

If downtime costs money or reputation, step up a class. If it’s “nice to have”, broadband may be enough.

Frequently asked questions

Can Pickle business broadband be used in strata buildings and common areas?

Yes. We routinely deploy in multi‑tenant buildings. We follow a clear LAN and VLAN governance approach for office, guest, camera/NVR and lift services. We’ll advise whether self‑install or a professional install is required after site assessment.

Does the service include a static IP address?

Yes — every Pickle business broadband plan includes a static IPv4 address at no extra charge. This is essential for VPNs, remote desktop access, and hosted services. Additional public IPs can be allocated on request — ask at the quote stage.

How do I choose between business broadband, Business Ethernet, and dedicated fibre?

In short — consistency and assurance. Broadband is cost‑effective but performance can vary at peak times. Business Ethernet offers higher assurance and more consistent performance. Dedicated fibre is uncontended with the highest SLAs and lead times. If downtime is costly, move up a class.

Is 4G or 5G backup available if our main connection fails?

Yes. With supported modems and adequate mobile coverage, we enable 4G/5G failover for continuity. Note that power outages still require UPS/backup power for your equipment.

Can you separate CCTV, lift phone, and office traffic on the same connection?

We keep cameras on a dedicated VLAN with tightly scoped access to the NVR, and we isolate voice services per ACMA‑aligned practices. This reduces lateral‑movement risk and simplifies support. For compliance specifics on your building, book a free assessment.

What does installation involve, and will there be any downtime to our building?

Simple sites use self‑install with minimal disruption. Strata or complex wiring typically requires a professional install coordinated with building access. We’ll confirm the plan and schedule to minimise impact on tenants and staff.

Do you provide a managed router, or do we supply our own equipment?

Can business broadband connect to existing building infrastructure such as an MDF room or riser?

What support do we get after the service goes live, and who do we call if something goes wrong?
